Iran, Armenia sign four economic documentsWednesday, Feb 28, 2018Iran and Armenia signed four customs and sports documents at the end of the 15th session of Iran-Armenia Joint Cooperation Commission.
(SHADA: TEHRAN) -- These documents included a joint economic commission document, two customs cooperation documents and a sports document.
The 15th session of Iran-Armenia Joint Cooperation Commission was held with the presence of the Minister of Energy, the head of Customs Administration of Iran and officials of some executive agencies in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.
Ashot Manukyan, Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of Armenia, was also at the session and welcomed the development of customs cooperation and bilateral efforts in this regard.
During the 15th session, various issues were reviewed, including the completion of the third power transmission line between Iran and Armenia, the establishment of a framework for exchanging electricity and energy in the two countries and the region, the presence of Iranian companies in the power plants of Armenia, and the development of trade, transport and customs exchanges.
