Iran calls for solving businessmen problems in Turkey

At the meeting with the head of the Turkish inspection agency, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance of Iran called for solving the problems facing Iranian businessmen and traders in Turkey.

(SHADA: TEHRAN) -- Referring to the long history of cooperation and relations between the two countries of Iran and Turkey, Massoud Karbasian, said: Our businessmen have litigation cases in Turkey, and we want the Turkish inspection agency to provide a reference for businessmen to submit their demands and problems.

Emphasizing that security is the most important factor for the development of mutual investments between the two countries, the Minister of Economy of Iran said: In the twelfth government, the Organization for Investment Economic and Technical Assistance succeeded to receive more than $30 billion credit lines from other countries.

He further pointed to the determination of the two countries to expand ties and stated: We are ready to increase the level of economic relations between the two countries.

Karbasian also called for Turkey's intergovernmental cooperation on 24-hour customs clearance and the replacement of the national currency in the two countries' exchanges.

The head of the Turkish inspection agency expressed satisfaction with the visit, saying: The Turkish inspection agency has very good relations with the Iranian Inspection Organization and we believe that the two countries' relations, especially in the economic sphere, should be better.

He said that the two countries' relations should not be limited to oil and gas, expressing hope that the volume of relations will reach $30 billion.
