Full implementation of comprehensive tax plan brings transparency, justiceMonday, Jan 29, 2018The Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance of Iran issued special directives for the promotion of integrated tax system.
(SHADA: TEHRAN) -- In the exhibition of achievements of the comprehensive tax plan, Massoud Karbassian, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance of Iran, evaluated the measures and achievements of the plan as positive and said: After completing the information chain and deploying the comprehensive tax plan, paper will be removed from all tax processes.
He further stated that electronic tax services would save money and time, adding: There will be no longer a need for the physical presence of taxpayers to access information, which will ultimately lead to their satisfaction.
The Minister also called for the completion of the information chain and the full implementation of the comprehensive tax plan, saying that the plan should include all the electronic services available to the tax system for taxpayers, such as direct taxes and value added tax, in the form of a single window.
The comprehensive tax plan is expected to increase tax transparency, tax justice and taxpayers’ satisfaction, he stressed.
