Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Exports 139,000 Tonnes of Goods Worth $77.8 Million in First Half of Year

Iran’s Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province exported 139,000 tonnes of goods valued at $77.8 million through its customs offices in the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year, with petrochemical products, agricultural commodities and household appliances accounting for the main export categories, the province’s director-general of Economic Affairs and Finance said.

According to Shada, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance’s news service, Tahamtan Abdollahi said the province’s exports totalled 139,000 tonnes during the six-month period, generating $77.8 million in value.

Agricultural products, petrochemicals and household appliances were the principal export items, Abdollahi said.

He also highlighted the continuity of customs operations under emergency conditions, noting that the province imported 9,500 tonnes of goods worth $28 million over the same period.
