Loading of a Living Quarters Platform for Reshadat Oilfield Begins

The loading operation for a living quarters Platform for Iran’s Reshadat oilfield began on Thursday evening at a ceremony attended by the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, Seyyed Ali Madanizadeh.

The ceremony, held as part of efforts to develop the Reshadat oilfield, was also attended by the governor of Bushehr Province, the deputy speaker of Iran’s parliament, and some local officials.

The accommodation quarters platform stands 27 meters high and weighs 2,500 metric tons. It has accommodation capacity for up to 43 personnel.

The platform is scheduled to be installed approximately 110 kilometers south of Lavan Island in the Persian Gulf.
