Madanizadeh was received at Sheremetyevo International Airport by Kazem Jalali, Iran’s ambassador to Russia, according to Iran’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance.

During his visit, Madanizadeh is scheduled to hold talks with Russia’s finance minister and discuss ways further to expand economic and financial cooperation between Tehran and Moscow.

His agenda also includes consultations within the BRICS framework and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), as well as a meeting with Iranian and Russian businesspeople and traders.
