A 30-megawatt solar power plant backed by foreign investment in Nehbandan County, South Khorasan Province, has reached 60% completion and is scheduled to come online before the anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Revolution in February (Feb. 11, 2027), according to the province’s director-general of economic and financial affairs.
Iran’s South Khorasan province has attracted 26 new foreign investment projects worth around 300 trillion rials over the past two years, with 11 projects already operational, the provincial director-general for economic and financial affairs said.
