Iran’s economic policymaking team is pursuing regulatory reforms and broad deregulation measures to facilitate imports, exports and business activity in response to restrictions affecting the country’s foreign trade, Deputy Economy Minister Morteza Zamanian said.
Iran’s Economy Minister Seyyed Ali Madanizadeh said BRICS is expected to play a key role in reducing the impact of sanctions over the long term, as member states expand the use of local currencies, interoperable payment systems, and transport and data corridors.
Iran and Russia have finalized several key agreements and reached new understandings on financial cooperation, labor, and employment, Iran’s Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Seyyed Ali Madanizadeh said, as the two countries seek to deepen and expand their economic relations.
