According to SHADA, the meeting, held at the Ministry of Economy in Tehran, focused on a range of mutual economic issues and avenues for expanding cooperation between the two countries.

The two sides exchanged views on enhancing economic relations, with particular emphasis on increasing the role of private sector companies and broadening collaboration across various sectors of the economy.

During the talks, both parties underlined the strong commitment of senior Iranian and Japanese officials to deepening joint cooperation and promoting long-term economic engagement between Tehran and Tokyo.
