Forouzan stressed that resolving the persistent issues at the Norduz crossing demands sustained coordination among all relevant governmental bodies and the formulation of actionable measures to streamline commercial processes, reduce administrative hurdles, and elevate service quality at the terminal.

Highlighting Norduz’s strategic significance in Iran’s foreign trade and transit network, Forouzan stated: “This border crossing holds considerable economic and logistical potential for the country. It is imperative to adopt a problem-solving approach to accurately identify existing obstacles and take decisive steps toward their elimination.”

The inspection aligns with the Supreme Council’s renewed operational strategy, which prioritizes direct field engagement, firsthand problem identification, and result-oriented follow-ups to address challenges at border and commercial gateways. As one of Iran’s most vital land ports for regional and international trade connectivity, Norduz plays an indispensable role in linking the national economy to global transit corridors.
