Chinese Ambassador Meets with Iranian Economy Minister

Cong Peiwu, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with Seyyed Ali Madanizadeh, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, on Monday.

During the meeting, the Iranian Economy Minister emphasized the importance of developing bilateral and multilateral cooperation by leveraging the capacity of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). At the same time, the Chinese Ambassador announced new opportunities to deepen economic relations between the two countries.
According to Shada, the Iranian Economy and Finance Minister, while referring to the history of economic and trade cooperation between Iran and China, called for further development and expansion of bilateral and multilateral ties, particularly through the SCO framework.
The Chinese Ambassador, while stressing the importance of comprehensive cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the People's Republic of China, highlighted China’s favorable economic growth in recent years. He noted that this progress has created more opportunities for expanding economic relations between the two nations and that both sides will soon utilize this potential by establishing operational mechanisms.
