Iran’s Foreign Trade Reaches $76.5 Billion in Eight Months: IRICA

The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) has reported that the country’s foreign trade in the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (beginning March 21, 2025) exceeded $76.5 billion.

Between March 21 and November 22, Iran traded 131.54 million tons of goods worth $76.537 billion. Compared with the same period last year, this represented a 9.38% decline in value but a 1.53% increase in volume, according to IRICA.

Exports accounted for 105.231 million tons of goods valued at $36.997 billion. This marked a 1.17% rise in volume but a 3.48% drop in value year‑on‑year.
Imports totaled 25.823 million tons of goods worth $39.540 billion. Here, volumes grew by 3%, while the value fell sharply by 14.29% compared with the corresponding period last year.
