Speaking at the sidelines of the MINEX 2025 exhibition, Heidari noted that around 30 ambassadors from various countries attended the opening ceremony, reflecting growing international interest in Iran’s mining opportunities.
Heidari emphasized that the mining sector is one of the most promising areas for investment, with a wide range of active projects that align with the organization’s investment benchmarks. “Our evaluation framework prioritizes profitability and currency generation, and mining projects meet both,” he said.
He also mentioned ongoing discussions with major industry bodies such as IMIDRO and the Iranian Mining House to compile comprehensive project packages. These efforts aim to support project structuring and financing, ultimately facilitating foreign investment.
“The mining sector holds great potential for large-scale foreign investment,” Heidari added. “We are committed to creating favorable conditions and hope to see positive developments in this field.”
The 14th International Investment Opportunities in Iran's Mines & Mining Industries Exhibition (MINEX 2025) is being held from September 30 to October 3 at Imam Khomeini Mosalla in Tehran, with participation of Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran.
