Iran Approves 53 New Foreign Investment Projects Worth $262M Across Key Sectors

Iran has approved 53 new foreign investment projects worth $262 million. The decision was made during the 298th meeting of the Foreign Investment Board, led by Dr. Heydari, head of Iran’s Organization for Investment and Economic and Technical Assistance.

The approved projects cover areas such as renewable energy, automotive, mining, and housing. Investors came from countries including the UK, Portugal, China, Thailand, Spain, Cyprus, UAE, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Oman, and Iranian expatriates.

This was the eighth board meeting held this year. Since the beginning of the year, Iran has approved over 310 foreign investment projects totaling more than $11.4 billion.
