Clearance of aircraft and airport components at customs accelerates

A new memorandum of understanding signed between Foroud Asgari, head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), and Hossein Pourfarzaneh, head of the Civil Aviation Organization, aims to streamline the clearance process for aviation and airport industry goods at Iranian customs.

The agreement includes the establishment of a dedicated customs office specializing in aviation and airport-related items.
This office will facilitate, expedite, and clarify customs procedures for the import and export of equipment, devices, and spare parts critical to the sector.
