According to SHADA, Madanizadeh underscored the Islamic Republic's determination to expand long-term and strategic relations with China, while expressing appreciation for Beijing's support, particularly during 'recent acts of aggression against Iran.'
The minister also welcomed Chinese President Xi Jinping's four-point proposal to restore peace and stability in the region, describing the initiative as a constructive step toward de-escalation.
The two sides also discussed ways to expand bilateral economic and trade cooperation and stressed the importance of making the necessary preparations to convene the Iran-China Joint Economic Cooperation Commission before the end of the current Iranian calendar year, which concludes on March 20, 2027.
They agreed that experts from both countries would begin the necessary coordination and technical work to facilitate the commission's meeting and advance bilateral economic cooperation.
