Speaking in a televised interview on Monday evening, Madanizadeh said hostile countries had recently acknowledged implementing coordinated economic measures against Iran in addition to military operations and cyberattacks.
"These admissions show that their criminal hands are stained not only with the blood of our people and children but are also interfering in the livelihoods and economy of the Iranian nation," he said.
The minister argued that Iran's adversaries had failed to recognize the resilience of the Iranian people, saying the same spirit that enabled the country to withstand military pressure would also help it overcome economic challenges.
"They will take the dream of bringing Iran's economy to its knees to the hell," Madanizadeh said.
He added that the government has prepared a two-year economic resilience plan and reassured the public that there is no reason for concern, and expressed confidence that the country would overcome the challenges.
The minister also rejected "false claims" about a potential banking collapse or the government's inability to finance its budget, saying such reports are part of efforts to undermine public confidence. He said Iranian authorities have contingency plans in place to counter any economic measures taken by the country's adversaries.
