According to Shada, the Dushanbe Invest-2025 forum kicked off at the 'Kohi Vahdat' National Complex, bringing together over 1,000 participants from the private sector, international organizations, financial institutions, and government agencies representing dozens of countries.
This three-day event, running through October 16, centers on the theme “Green Investment: Today’s Opportunity for Tomorrow’s Sustainable Future.” Discussions will focus on green investment, sustainable development, and the digital transformation of Tajikistan’s economy.
In his opening remarks, President Emomali Rahmon emphasized Tajikistan’s strategic commitment to building an innovative, environmentally friendly, and digitally driven economy. He highlighted investment opportunities in priority sectors such as clean energy, green technologies, and digitalization. Rahmon described the forum as not only a platform for attracting foreign capital but also a key step toward fostering sustainable and innovative partnerships at both regional and global levels.
Among the distinguished guests is a high-level delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by Minister Seyed Ali Madanizadeh. The delegation, which includes senior economic officials and financial experts, has traveled to Dushanbe to strengthen bilateral investment ties and explore cooperation opportunities in green and digital sectors. Minister Madanizadeh is expected to deliver a speech during today’s plenary session.
The presence of the Iranian delegation signals Iran’s growing interest in investing in Central Asia and enhancing economic relations with Tajikistan.
