According to Shada, Dr. Abdolnasser Hemmati, who traveled to Saudi Arabia to participate in the annual conference on challenges and opportunities facing emerging economies, met with Dr. Mehmet Simsek, Minister of Finance of Turkey.

The AlUla conference is co-organized by the Saudi Ministry of Finance and the IMF.

in a joint statement issued on November 24, Saudi Minister Al-Jadaan and IMF Chief Kristalina Georgieva stated the conference would be a platform for exchanging insights on economic developments and exploring policies and reforms to promote prosperity through international collaboration.

Minister Hemmati is also holding bilateral talks with politicians from regional countries to discuss strategies for cementing cooperation in the economy.
