Economy Minister: Government and Parliament to Formulate New Economic Policies

Tehran - In a high-level meeting with Parliament's Economic Commission on Monday, Economic Affairs and Finance Minister Seyed Ali Madanizadeh stressed the urgent need to strengthen Iran's economic resilience through structural reforms. The discussions focused on redesigning the country's economic infrastructure to adapt to new geopolitical realities following recent Israeli attacks.

According to Shada reports, Minister Madanizadeh emphasized: "We must comprehensively review and restructure our economic foundations to enhance systemic resilience. This requires coordinated policy development between the government and Parliament."

The Minister outlined key priorities for inter-sectoral coordination, particularly in Banking and insurance systems, Capital market operations, and Taxation frameworks.

Dr. Shams al-Din Hosseini, Chairman of Parliament's Economic Commission, echoed these concerns, stating: "Preventing economic disruption in the current climate is paramount. Parliament will maintain continuous oversight of the economic situation through daily monitoring."
