The document was signed in the presence of both heads of state by Reza Masrour, the secretary of the Free Zones High Council, and Elena Pershinova, Head of the State Agency for Investment and Privatisation of the Republic of Belarus.
According to Shada, the agreement seeks to deepen bilateral investment ties and promote joint initiatives across trade, tourism, and financial services. The accord is expected to accelerate development within the free zones of both nations.
During his visit to Belarus, Masrour also participated in a bilateral summit, met with Iranian expatriates and business leaders based in the country, and attended an official luncheon hosted by President Alexander Lukashenko.
